1305E 15¢ Holmes Varieties

There are a total of 3 varieties of this issue.

1) 1305E is the Type I major issue, which was printed with two varieties. The 15¢ denomination has solid red color, and the top line in the middle of the "¢" in 15¢ is slightly to the left of the "e" in "postage". The denomination's color is solid dark red. This issue was produced with two varieties - a shiny gum variety and a dull gum variety.

2) 1305Ei is the Type II minor variety. The top line of the denomination's "¢" symbol is in the middle of the "e" in "postage". The denomination's color has a lighter red netting when compared to Type I. The Type II issue was only produced with dull gum.
